Passcode protection settings
If you are using an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch), you may need to enter a passcode every time you make purchases to avoid accidental and unnecessary charges. We strongly recommend that you enable this setting if your child and other users have access to the device. All the charges incurred from the purchases made will be on parents own responsibility.
① Go to [Settings] [general]
② Enable [Restrictions]
③ Enter a restrictions passcode.
④ Passcode is enabled.
Notice
When passcode [restriction] is turned off, passcode is only required once for multiple purchases within the 15 minutes time period, hence we highly recommend passcode restriction feature to be turned on.
Parental controls
On iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch), when parental controls are enabled, you can restrict your child’s access from making purchases. other features such as passcode request to buy contents is also available.
① Go to [Settings] [general].
② Click on [Restrictions].
